a brief distraction, hoping you'll forgive me.

How can a visit to the Stanley in 1979 give you the idea to write a book that has a 1977 copywrite?
Check into room 217 in 1975 and write the book when you get home.
(that is what it says in "The Consise History of the Stanley Hotel")
