i'm annoyed, jealous, and possessive
so i have this friend named alex. and trust me when i say he's a friend and nothing more. he's julia's home teacher, and was my stand-in home teacher for a while. i don't know what it is about him, but it's like i only want him to be my friend and no one else's (except for julia). as such, i'm really choosy about who i would be okay with him dating. so with that in mind, i'm going to say this: i'm getting really sick of my roommate throwing all of these inappropriate (according to me) girls at him! julia feels the same way. me and julia, and only me and julia, should be allowed to decide which girls get thrown at alex. because he's our friend. and no one else's. or at least that's the way it should be.

I had a friend just like that in college! I was totally mad when he would date girls that, in my opinion, weren't good enough for him. Except I was also totally in love with him, so maybe it wasn't exactly like your situation. Yeah, now that I think about it, it was all sorts of different from your situation...
But I can imagine how you feel. :)
